This session will feature four real world CFA examples of businesses that have gone through a transition of Generational Succession planning, Employee-Owned Partnerships (ESOPs), Seller-Financed Buyouts, or Market Consolidation. The presenter will bring out these four examples along with experience leading some challenging transitions to help you find the possible right steps your company may advance into the future. We will take these experiences and participate in active table discussions that framework ideas, questions, concerns, and opportunities from your own experience.

Scott Eckart is president of Westpoint Financial Group and a frequent speaker and consultant for businesses on the topics of their futures.  Jeff Weber is president of Weber Concrete, a CFA contractor member, with experience in the forced-succession plan transition.  Nate Jordan is president of Stephens & Smith Construction, a CFA certified contractor member, with experience in the transition to a successful ESOP.  Ken Kurszewski is president of Hottmann Construction, a CFA contractor member, with experience in a seller-financed business ownership model.  Jason Ells is Senior Executive Vice President for Custom Concrete, a CFA certified contractor member, with experience in business growth by acquisition.
